On behalf of our client, NRL Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced
Multi Skilled Engineer to join a mobile maintenance team operating across a variety of client sites in the Winchester area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer with a strong electrical background to work within a professional facilities maintenance environment, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Location: Winchester, SO21 2SW
Duration: Until 13th September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out statutory Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks in accordance with schedules and compliance requirements
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and fault-finding activities
- Undertake a range of electrical and general building maintenance works
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Accurately complete maintenance records and job documentation
- Work collaboratively with a team of engineers across multiple client locations
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times
Requirements Essential:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Proven experience within a Multi Skilled Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Facilities Maintenance role
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
- AM2 qualification
- Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
- Experience working in commercial building maintenance environments
