A Project Support and Materials Coordinator contract opportunity is available to support the delivery of one of the UK’s most high‑profile nuclear new‑build projects at Hinkley Point C.

This is a long‑term, well‑funded role embedded within the commissioning and operations phase, focused specifically on spares, materials coordination and supplier expediting across major equipment packages. The contract offers stability through to the end of 2026, with clear visibility of extension, and the chance to work at the centre of a complex, safety‑critical programme.

Based out of offices in Leatherhead or Bridgwater, Dorset, the role offers some hybrid working, alongside close collaboration with project teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The role
You will play a key part in ensuring commissioning and operations spares are delivered, tracked and ready when needed, supporting safe and timely project execution. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the commissioning and operations spares scope across multiple equipment packages
  • Direct supplier desk‑based expediting and coordination of spares deliveries
  • Managing and administering the Hinkley Point C material management tool
  • Tracking progress, resolving issues and maintaining accurate records across spares packages
  • Liaising with suppliers, internal teams and project stakeholders to keep material flows on track
About you
This role suits someone who enjoys structured project support in a technically complex environment and is comfortable working with suppliers and systems. Ideally, you will bring:
  • Experience in materials management, spares coordination or expediting within engineering, energy or major projects
  • Strong administration and coordination skills, with confidence managing data and systems
  • Clear communication skills and a methodical, detail‑focused approach
  • Previous experience on large infrastructure or regulated projects (nuclear experience is advantageous but not essential)
  • French language skills are highly desirable, though not essential
