Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Senior BIM / Digital Delivery Manager to lead digital delivery initiatives on large-scale civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Based in Capenhurst, near Chester with flexibility for part-remote working, this role is ideal for a specialist passionate about driving innovation in BIM and digital project delivery. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping strategy and guiding multi-disciplinary teams on complex, high-profile projects.

Location and Working Pattern
Capenhurst, near Chester – 3 days per week on site with flexibility for remote working.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement BIM and Digital Project Delivery (DPD) strategy aligned with ISO 19650.
  • Act as a senior member of the Digital Delivery Leadership Team, driving business change, policy, and standards.
  • Create and maintain company procedures, BEP templates, and CDE implementation guides.
  • Oversee digital resource allocation across multiple projects.
  • Identify and integrate innovative technology including drones, AR, VR, and multimedia solutions.
  • Build and roll out reporting dashboards using tools such as Power BI and PowerApps.
  • Ensure ISO 19650 and client compliance throughout delivery stages.
  • Provide technical support for CAD and CDE, producing high-quality visuals and engaging project media.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BIM professionals and apprentices.
  • Design and deliver targeted technical training across the organisation.
Must‑have Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in BIM / Digital Project Delivery across civil engineering, infrastructure, or rail.
  • Proven track record delivering BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650-compliant projects from concept to execution.
  • Strong 3D CAD/BIM modelling skills, clash detection, and multi-discipline coordination.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and CDE platforms.
  • Experience developing enterprise-level BIM standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing BIM and digital delivery teams.
Nice‑to‑have Skills
  • Familiarity with Power BI, PowerApps, or similar reporting tools.
  • Experience applying AR/VR and drone technology in construction settings.
  • Background within nuclear or regulated environments.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., BEng, HND/HNC in Engineering).
