Reports to: Head of Asset Management / Portfolio Director

 

Overview:

We’re looking for an Asset Manager to oversee the performance of a portfolio of renewable energy assets, such as solar, wind, or storage projects.
This role focuses on maximizing asset value over the full lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for financial performance, operational efficiency, and contractual compliance, working closely with operations, finance, and external partners.

 

Key Responsibilities:
Asset Performance Management:

  • Monitor technical and financial performance of assets against targets
  • Analyze production data, availability, and efficiency metrics
  • Identify underperformance and drive corrective actions

Financial Management

  • Manage asset-level budgets, forecasts, and financial models
  • Track revenues, operating costs, and profitability
  • Optimize cash flow and returns for each asset

Contract & Stakeholder Management

  • Oversee key contracts (O&M, PPA, land leases, grid agreements)
  • Ensure counterparties meet their obligations
  • Act as the main point of contact for partners, lenders, and investors

Reporting

  • Prepare regular performance reports for management and investors
  • Provide insights on risks, opportunities, and key trends
  • Support board and lender reporting requirements

Optimization & Value Creation

  • Identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs
  • Lead initiatives such as refinancing, repowering, or contract renegotiation
  • Support asset acquisitions and integration into the portfolio

Risk & Compliance

  • Monitor operational, financial, and regulatory risks
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies
  • Coordinate insurance and claims when needed

 

Qualifications:
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Master’s degree is a plus

Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in asset management, project finance, or operations within energy or infrastructure
  • Experience in renewable energy (solar, wind, BESS) is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with project-financed assets is a plus

Skills

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of energy markets and revenue structures
  • Ability to interpret technical performance data
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with data tools is a plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Languages

  • English required; additional languages are a plus
