Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience managing design delivery on large, complex infrastructure projects
- Strong background in nuclear, high-security, or highly regulated environments
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Strong understanding of building design, construction processes, and UK standards
- Knowledge of RIBA Plan of Work (or equivalent design lifecycle frameworks)
- Understanding of nuclear safety principles, CDM regulations, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong organisational and leadership capability
Desirable
- Experience designing facilities against internal and external hazard requirements
- Familiarity with engineering design tools and digital design platforms
- Experience working within major capital programmes or complex infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of UK nuclear regulatory frameworks
- Additional language skills (e.g. French) advantageous
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural, Process, or related Engineering discipline
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) desirable
- Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (CTC or equivalent)
