Civil Site Supervisor

A leading EPC contractor is delivering a major Energy from Waste (EfW) Combined Heat and Power facility in Wisbech and is now seeking a Civil Site Supervisor to play a pivotal role in this critical infrastructure project.

This development will provide a long‑term, sustainable waste management solution for the region, converting waste into valuable energy and heat. We’re looking for a safety‑first civil professional who thrives on site leadership and wants real ownership of works on a complex, heavy industrial project.

As Civil Site Supervisor, you’ll take responsibility for all civil construction activities within your area, acting as the visible lead on-site and driving high standards across safety, quality and delivery.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Leading and promoting a strong HSEQ culture across site and contractor teams
• Reviewing and implementing RAMS to ensure safe systems of work
• Supervising civil subcontractors to ensure programme, cost and quality targets are met
• Taking ownership of day‑to‑day civil site operations and maintaining accurate records
• Managing design look‑aheads and coordinating closely with the Civil Contract Manager
• Providing clear, practical leadership to multi‑disciplinary site teams

What we’re looking for

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Proven experience supervising civil works in heavy industrial or infrastructure environments
• Experience working within EPC‑led projects or subcontractor organisations
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to clearly communicate methods on site
• SMSTS (or equivalent) and a valid SCC, Safepass, CSCS or CCNSG
• Confident user of Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation
