Job Title Commercial Manager
Summary We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to support our client on a major
data centre project in Copenhagen. This role is best suited to someone with extensive commercial management expertise and a proven track record delivering data centre schemes. You will play a critical part in ensuring financial performance, compliance and successful project delivery while working with a leading international contractor.

Client Overview Our client is an internationally renowned construction company with a reputation for delivering complex projects across multiple sectors, with a strong focus on safety, quality and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage all commercial and contractual aspects of the project.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions and relevant legislation.
- Maintain cost control, budgeting and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage valuations, variations and payment applications.
- Negotiate with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to protect financial interests.
- Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee procurement strategies and supplier engagement in line with project objectives.
- Drive commercial risk management processes and develop mitigation plans.
Must-have Requirements- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager on large-scale construction projects.
- Significant experience in delivering data centre projects.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement and cost management principles.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction or related discipline.
Nice-to-have Skills- Professional membership with RICS or an equivalent body.
- Familiarity with BIM-related commercial processes.
- Experience working across international projects or multi-jurisdictional contracts.
