Commercial Manager

Job Title Commercial Manager Summary We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to support our client on a major data centre project in Copenhagen. This role is best suited to someone with extensive commercial management expertise and a proven track record delivering data centre schemes. You will play a critical part in ensuring financial performance, compliance and successful project delivery while working with a leading international contractor. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all commercial and contractual aspects of the project.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions and relevant legislation.
• Maintain cost control, budgeting and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage valuations, variations and payment applications.
• Negotiate with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to protect financial interests.
• Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee procurement strategies and supplier engagement in line with project objectives.
• Drive commercial risk management processes and develop mitigation plans.

Must-have Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager on large-scale construction projects.
• Significant experience in delivering data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of contract law, procurement and cost management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction or related discipline.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Professional membership with RICS or an equivalent body.
• Familiarity with BIM-related commercial processes.
• Experience working across international projects or multi-jurisdictional contracts.
