What you’ll be doing

• Reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications for civils and utilities projects.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates covering labour, plant, materials and subcontractor packages.
• Developing pricing models for pipelines, ducting, cabling and associated infrastructure.
• Producing cost plans, BoQs and pricing schedules aligned to framework requirements.
• Working with engineering and delivery teams to validate scope, methodologies and programme assumptions.
• Managing and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options.
• Supporting tender submissions, clarifications and commercial discussions.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in construction, utilities, infrastructure or civil engineering.
• Strong understanding of estimating techniques and engineering methodologies.
• Ability to interpret drawings and multidisciplinary scopes.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel-based pricing models.
• Solid commercial awareness and understanding of project risk.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
