Project Controls & Cost Engineering Opportunities Nuclear & Utilities | Permanent | Multiple locations

If you’re working in Project Controls, Cost Management or Cost Engineering and thinking about your next move — this is one of those moments where it’s worth paying attention.
We’re supporting a number of long‑term, permanent opportunities across major UK nuclear and utilities programmes, ranging from senior leadership roles through to hands‑on delivery positions. These roles offer stability, visibility and progression — not short‑term project hopping.

The opportunities We’re currently recruiting across four permanent roles:
  • Project Controls Manager | London – senior leadership role on a flagship nuclear programme
  • Cost Manager | Suffolk – programme‑level cost control and reporting
  • Cost Engineer | Bristol – project cost, forecasting and performance reporting
  • Cost Engineer | Warrington – long‑term framework role within the water sector
Projects & sectors You’ll be working on some of the UK’s most high‑profile and secure infrastructure programmes, including:
  • Nuclear new build (Sizewell C & Hinkley Point C)
  • Utilities & water projects under the AMP8 framework
  • Regulated, safety‑critical environments with genuine long‑term pipelines
Most positions require regular office or site presence (typically 3 days per week), depending on project needs.

Salary & package
  • Salaries range from circa £40,000 up to £115,000, depending on role and experience
  • Expenses available on some roles (enquire for further details)
  • All positions are permanent
Who this suits These opportunities are deliberately broad to attract strong professionals at different stages of their career. You might currently be working as a:
  • Project Controls Manager
  • Cost Manager
  • Cost Engineer / Project Controls Engineer
  • Cost Analyst or Commercial / Cost professional with strong project controls fundamentals
Experience in nuclear, utilities, infrastructure, energy or other regulated sectors is ideal — but strong transferable project controls experience is equally valuable.

Why these roles stand out
  • Long‑term programme visibility
  • Permanent positions within stable, growing frameworks
  • Exposure to nationally significant infrastructure projects
  • Clear progression as programmes scale
