We are seeking an organised and proactive
HR Administrator to join the PARC Operations team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys delivering excellent customer service, and has a strong eye for detail. You’ll play a key part in supporting the full employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations across the business.
About the Role
As the
PARC Operations Coordinator, you will support day‑to‑day HR administration and core people processes. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, supporting onboarding and offboarding, managing HR documentation, and ensuring data integrity within Workday. This role is central to delivering a high‑quality service to employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage general HR administration tasks as directed by the PARC Operations Lead.
- Handle employee lifecycle correspondence, including contracts, onboarding documents, and exit paperwork.
- Update Workday with new starters, employee changes, and leavers, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Maintain and organise HR files and documentation in line with compliance standards.
- Support monthly payroll processing by ensuring all Workday data is correct and up to date.
- Monitor and action queries in the PARC inbox, escalating where appropriate.
- Process sickness and absence forms.
- Support recruitment processes to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
- Prepare employment offers, reference requests, security documentation, induction packs, and new joiner communications.
- Work with the Benefits Advisor to administer company benefit schemes and provide payroll documentation.
- Administer holiday purchase/sale processes and maintain accurate records.
- Manage probation documentation and follow-up actions.
- Deliver transactional HR processes in line with SLAs and performance metrics.
- Handle level 0 and 1 employee queries with a customer‑focused approach.
Skills & Experience- HR or related qualification (desirable).
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- HR operations experience (desirable).
- Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Confident using HR systems (Workday experience advantageous).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and a customer‑service mindset.
Technical Skills- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience managing data within HR databases or systems.
- Understanding of UK employment law, GDPR, and HR compliance.
- Knowledge of security clearance processes (BPSS, SC, DV) is desirable.
