Job Title HV Quality Lead Inspector
Summary We’re looking for an experienced HV Quality Lead Inspector to join our client’s team on-site, ensuring the highest standards for all high-voltage electrical system inspections. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in HV quality control who thrives on ensuring compliance, safety, and precision in large-scale electrical projects.
Salary EGP 100,000–110,000 per month net
Location and Working Pattern On-site role (exact location to be confirmed), overseeing HV inspection activities at project sites.
Client Overview Our client is a respected operator in the power and energy industry, delivering complex electrical infrastructure projects with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and compliance.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the HV QA/QC inspection team, managing schedules and resources efficiently.
- Oversee execution of inspection test plans, ensuring subcontractors comply with project requirements.
- Develop and implement QA/QC plans and procedures aligned with IEC standards and client specifications.
- Validate HV electrical testing, including insulation resistance, relay protection tests, and cable jointing quality.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality standards during all HV activities—cable installation, energisation, FAT, SAT.
- Facilitate quality meetings, training, and updates to drive continuous improvement and site compliance awareness.
- Prepare and manage reports, NCRs, and corrective actions; track resolution through to completion.
- Provide guidance on best practices, technical requirements, and quality solutions for site teams.
Must‑have Requirements- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Power Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in HV Stations Quality Control.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC systems and applicable IEC, ASTM, ISO standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint; knowledge of quality management software is an advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Proven ability to conduct inspections, reporting, and follow-up on non-conformities.
Nice‑to‑have Skills- Familiarity with additional industry-specific standards or local regulations.
- Track record of supporting commissioning and start-up phases.
