 IT Desktop Support Analyst

 We’re seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Analyst to join our clients team in Tidworth, Wiltshire on a 3‑month contract.
This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience in desktop configuration and IT support, who can deliver excellent customer service to both office‑based and remote users. If you have strong technical skills and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.


Location and Working Pattern Tidworth, Wiltshire – full time, 40 hours per week, on‑site
Client Overview Our client operates in the engineering and infrastructure sector, delivering essential services to support complex projects nationwide

Responsibilities
  • Configure, build, and image PCs for deployment following standard processes
  • Deliver and install desktop assets and peripherals for end users
  • Provide IT support and incident management for office‑based and remote users
  • Assist with office moves, including cabling, patching and hardware setup
  • Support corporate mobile phones and meeting room hardware
  • Manage hardware disposal, delivery and returns processes
  • Help users with KBR/ASPIRE apps and MFA on personal devices
  • Follow all IT processes and escalate unresolved incidents where required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards and Health & Safety regulations
Must‑have Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft applications, including MS Teams
  • Experience imaging/building PCs using MECM/CM or similar tools
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to perform manual handling when moving IT equipment
  • Eligibility to obtain BPSS and SC security clearance (UK nationals only with 5‑year UK residency)
Nice‑to‑have Skills
  • Current BPSS or SC clearance
