Lead Civil Structural Engineer
Summary
Seeking expressions of interest for a potential upcoming project with starts expected towards the end of June. We are looking for an experienced Lead Civil Structural Engineer to deliver FEED and detailed design phases for an onshore oil and gas facility.
Salary
Competitive day rates (outside IR35)
Location and Working Pattern
Woking, UK – Office-based, 5 days per week
Responsibilities

• Lead the civil and structural engineering team across FEED and detailed design phases
• Prepare and review complex calculations and design documentation
• Ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance with codes and standards
• Interface with other disciplines to resolve engineering issues
• Support constructability and maintainability reviews
• Provide guidance and technical assurance for deliverables
• Monitor progress and liaise with project management on schedules

Must-have Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in civil and structural engineering for oil & gas projects
• Strong background in structural analysis and design for onshore facilities
• Familiar with international codes and standards for civil/structural works

Nice-to-have Skills

• Experience delivering projects to Aramco standards (SAES) highly desirable
• Competence with structural design software packages
