  • Ensure mechanical works align with technical specifications, manufacturer requirements, and contractual commitments
Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
  • Mentor, guide, and develop mechanical field service teams in best practices and safe working methods
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, Technical Services, and wider support functions to coordinate execution

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical development across service operations
Compliance & Reporting
  • Enforce strict adherence to QHSE requirements through site inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, including inspection reports, maintenance records, time sheets, and incident logs
  • Ensure reporting supports traceability, compliance, and technical accuracy
  • Support internal and external audits, customer reviews, and compliance assessments
Local & Operational Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver mechanical service and project activities safely, on time, and within budget using both direct and subcontracted labour
  • Represent the organisation professionally on site, maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Apply specialist mechanical knowledge of solid‑fuelled power plant technology

  • Support tendering and cost modelling activities by estimating labour, resources, and technical requirements
Qualifications & Experience

  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel as required to support site operations

  • Customer‑focused, proactive, and adaptable in demanding site environments
  • Technically astute with strong judgement and problem‑solving capability
  • Effective leader with strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Organised, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
