Summary We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the successful delivery of life sciences projects in Limerick. This role is ideal for a professional with strong leadership skills and experience in mechanical or building services engineering, looking to work on large-scale construction and fit-out projects.

Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership for MEP engineering and building services within the sector.
- Oversee design, installation, commissioning and handover of MEP systems across multiple projects.
- Ensure integration of MEP services with structural, architectural and civil works.
- Review and approve technical documentation, design submissions and specifications for compliance.
- Monitor project performance, risk and compliance within MEP activities.
- Support project managers in delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
- Lead investigations into technical failures and ensure lessons learned are applied.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and regulatory bodies to ensure expectations are met.
Must-have Requirements- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- Significant experience in MEP leadership and management within construction.
Nice-to-have Skills- Postgraduate qualification in Building Services, Engineering Management or Sustainability.
- Professional membership with a recognised body (CIBSE, IET or equivalent).
- Experience with BIM for MEP, digital engineering or smart building technologies.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency, carbon management and sustainability frameworks.
