About the Role: We are seeking motivated
Mobile Water Treatment Technicians (T1 & T3) to join our clients team supporting water hygiene and treatment services across the Central Belt of Scotland. This mobile role involves travelling between sites to deliver planned and remedial works, ensuring compliance with current water safety regulations and industry standards.
You will work closely with schedulers, administrators and the technical team to deliver high‑quality service, maintain accurate records and represent the organisation professionally on client sites.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) using appropriate tools and systems
- Complete tasks including:
- Temperature monitoring
- Showerhead descales
- Cold water storage tank inspections and cleans
- Cooling tower cleans and disinfections
- TMV servicing
- Water sampling
- Maintain and update site L8 logbooks where acting as the primary technician
- Complete work reports accurately and on time (via day work sheets or Planon)
- Undertake remedial works following quoted tasks
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery
- Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism
- Participate in two corporate social responsibility days per year
What We’re Looking For- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ or SVQ aligned to the appropriate technician tier
- Post‑qualification experience in water hygiene or water treatment
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of:
- Water Supply Regulations/Byelaws
- L8 ACOP
- HSG274
- Other relevant industry guidance
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities
- Valid UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites
