Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join a leading organisation in Fujairah, UAE. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in maritime or port operations, offering the chance to manage Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer schedules and ensure operational compliance. Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate STS operation schedules, including vessels, Mooring Masters, POAC and support equipment
• Prepare and manage the Joint Plan of Operation (JPO), risk assessments and checklists before each STS transfer
• Liaise with shipowners, charterers, agents and terminal representatives to confirm vessel compatibility and schedules
• Handle required notifications to authorities under NORMAM-204 and other applicable regulations
• Monitor equipment certification status and communicate renewal requirements
• Maintain accurate operational records and document control in line with procedures
• Support reporting post-operation, including incident tracking and feedback consolidation
• Provide backup operational support on a rotating on-call basis outside office hours

Must-have Requirements

• Degree or technical qualification in Nautical Sciences, Maritime Operations, Logistics or related field
• Previous experience in ship agency, port operations or maritime coordination
• Fluent in English and Portuguese with strong communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple operations simultaneously

Nice-to-have Skills

• Knowledge of Brazilian maritime regulations (NORMAM, Capitania dos Portos)
• Background in the Brazilian Navy or Merchant Marine
