Summary We are seeking an experienced Construction Piping Supervisor for a 12-month contract in Wesseling, Germany. This role is ideal for professionals with strong piping and mechanical construction expertise who can ensure compliance, efficiency, and safety on site. You must be fluent in German and have the right to work in Germany.

Our client delivers specialist engineering and construction solutions across Europe, supporting major industrial projects to ensure safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities- Supervise and support contractors in monitoring, expediting, and field activities.
- Coordinate construction with site superintendents and multiple contractors to meet schedules and maintain quality.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings with an understanding of discipline specifications.
- Audit works to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment, meeting HSSE objectives.
- Review method statements to confirm controlled, safe, and efficient execution.
- Monitor contractor competence, processes, and staffing throughout the job.
- Attend daily reviews and meetings, implementing construction and safety policies.
Must-have Requirements- Fluent in German (oral and written) with good understanding of spoken English.
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in piping or a mechanical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant site piping and mechanical construction experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of German industry standards, codes, and mechanical specifications.
- Leadership skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple contractors.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be an EU citizen or have existing right to work in Germany.
Nice-to-have Skills- Experience ensuring HSSE compliance in Germany.
- Familiarity with PTW (Permit to Work) systems and contractor facility operations.
