Scope of Work (SOW): Supply Chain Supervisor (O&M Focus)
Position Title: Procurement Supervisor
Reports To: Plants General Manager / Supply Chain Manager
- Position Objective
The procurement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all procurement and logistics activities specific to the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) division. The primary objective is to ensure the uninterrupted availability of materials, equipment, and services required for maintenance, repairs, and operations. This role requires a proactive leader capable of balancing strategic sourcing initiatives with rapid, emergency response procurement in a high-pressure, fast-paced industrial environment.
- Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Execute the end-to-end procurement cycle for all O&M requirements, including spare parts, consumables, tools, and specialized maintenance services.
- Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Manage the procurement of high-value, complex, or long-lead-time items specific to critical equipment
- Coordinate with the maintenance planning team to forecast material needs based on preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all emergency procurement requests.
- Maintain a network of local suppliers and subcontractors capable of 24/7/365 response.
- Utilize expediting skills to track critical orders and resolve supply chain disruptions immediately to minimize equipment downtime.
- Continuously source and qualify new vendors to ensure competitive pricing, improved lead times, and redundancy in the supply base. And secure savings.
- Conduct market research to identify innovative products or alternative suppliers that can improve reliability or reduce costs for the O&M team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of key suppliers (quality, delivery, cost).
- Implement and monitor KPIs such as Emergency Purchase Order Cycle Time, PO Accuracy, and Cost Savings.
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, specifically within an O&M, facilities management, or industrial maintenance environment. Energy sector will

- Communication: Ability to interface effectively between technicians (who need parts) and suppliers (who provide them).
