Job Purpose:

The Quality Inspector – Civil is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities on the wind farm project are executed in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, and quality requirements. The role supports the QA/QC function by conducting inspections, monitoring workmanship, and ensuring adherence to quality procedures throughout all phases of construction.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and scheduled inspections of civil works including:
    • Foundations (WTG foundations)
    • Excavation and backfilling
    • Concrete works
    • Roads and hardstands
    • Drainage systems and infrastructure
  • Verify that all works are carried out in accordance with:
    • Approved drawings and method statements
    • Project specifications and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)
    • Relevant international standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, ISO)
  • Conduct material inspections and ensure compliance with approved submittals
  • Witness and document testing activities such as:
    • Concrete slump tests
    • Cube/compression tests
    • Soil compaction tests
  • Raise and follow up on NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure proper closure
  • Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation
  • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors on quality-related matters
  • Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures and quality control plans
  • Participate in internal and external audits when required
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil QA/QC inspection
  • Previous experience in wind farm, renewable energy, or large infrastructure projects is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with WTG foundations and heavy civil works is an advantage


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and quality standards
  • Familiarity with inspection and testing procedures
  • Good understanding of QA/QC documentation and reporting
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
