Job Title:

Site and Facilities Assistant

Summary: 

We’re urgently looking for an organised and proactive Site and Facilities Assistant to support a major construction project in Wisbech. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy site-based environment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth site operations by managing admin tasks, maintaining facilities, and providing essential support to the site team.

Salary

£15.00 – £18.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Location and Working Pattern

Wisbech – On-site Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
This position is fully site-based and suited to candidates living locally or within a commutable distance.

Client Overview

You’ll be joining a respected organisation delivering complex construction projects with a strong focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main site administrator, managing office supplies, organising travel, and maintaining documentation
  • Provide full administrative support to the Site Manager and project team
  • Welcome and assist visitors, arranging catering when required
  • Coordinate site facilities, ensuring the compound remains safe, clean, and operational
  • Support daily site activities, including utilities and maintenance coordination
  • Assist with general logistics to keep project operations running smoothly
  • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards relevant to the role

Must-have Requirements

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within construction or engineering environments
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage your own workload
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications
  • Comfortable working on a construction site full-time

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Basic diploma or qualification in office administration
  • Additional language skills
