Site Design Coordinator – Civil Works
Location: Cheshire Contract or Permanent | Immediate Start Available
We’re recruiting for an experienced
Site Design Coordinator to support the delivery of a major infrastructure project in Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on a high-value civil works package for a large-scale energy facility.
You’ll act as the central point for civil design coordination on site—ensuring alignment across engineering teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate civil design deliverables alongside the Lead Civil Engineer
- Manage interfaces between consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Review designs for constructability, compliance, and risk
- Ensure designs meet programme, budget, HSE, and quality requirements
- Represent the civil design function within project meetings and drive clear communication
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or similar
- Strong experience in design coordination within construction or infrastructure
- Experience delivering large-scale civil packages (£30m ) on complex projects
- Background working with tier 1 or major contractors
- Excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills
