Job Purpose
To lead and oversee the quality inspection activities for Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) components and installation works, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications, project requirements, industry standards (IEC, ISO, GWO), and safety regulations. The role coordinates with the quality inspection team, WTG supplier, EPC contractor, and site stakeholders to ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant WTG installation and commissioning.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in wind energy, with at least 5 years in WTG QA/QC or installation supervision.
- IT knowledge – familiar with SharePoint and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, familiarity with quality management software is an asset).
- Language: fluent both written and spoken in English.
- Strong technical knowledge of BOP and WTG components, installation processes, commissioning, and OEM quality standards.
Hands-on experience in site inspections, reporting, and follow-up of non-conformities.
