​A Principal Electrical Engineer is a specialist engineer who manages the electrical engineering projects for an engineering company. The role of a Principal Electrical Engineer is to manage the overall engineering processes and usually requires leading a group of engineers, technicians and support staff to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

To work as a Principal Electrical Engineer, you’ll need to have strong knowledge in the field of electrical design and power system analysis, as well as be proficient with multiple software applications.
