Our Client is currently recruiting for an AutoCAD Operator / Draughtsperson, based at a powerstation in Heysham.
Typical working hours are 37 hours per week, working the following pattern:
Monday 08.30-16:45
Tuesday 08.30-16:45
Wednesday 08.30-16.45
Thursday 08.30-16.45
Friday 08:30-15:00
This position would be ideally suited to someone who has previous experience working in a regulated environment with strong attention to detail.
Duties will include:
Amendment, review, issue and distribution of Drawings via AMS/CDMS.
Updating/distribution hard copy documents station wide.
Analysis, interpretation and presentation of information to support the Document Management Process.
Ad hoc administration to support Document Management/Drawing Office Operations.
Skills and experience:
Essential
Proficient in AutoCAD/RASTERCAD
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, and Excel.
Strong attention to detail. Ensure high standards are maintained through all Station Drawings.
Confident communication skills - written and verbal, dealing with internal stakeholders
Desirable
Engineering background
This role would suit someone who has the ability to effectively plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines, working flexibly, reacting to changing priorities.
