What You’ll Be Doing:
The Process Of BID Management:
Manage the bid process, from opportunity identification to proposal submission, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Create and execute strategies that align with client requirements and market demands, maintaining a competitive position.
Plan, schedule, and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and efficient bid submission.
Identify and resolve risks or challenges throughout the bid process to ensure deadlines are met.
Ensure all necessary documentation is in place for compliance and governance.
Completing Development Proposals:
Lead the entire process from identifying opportunities to submitting proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Design and implement strategies that cater to client needs while keeping the company competitive.
Manage the planning, scheduling, and allocation of resources to ensure timely proposal submissions.
Anticipate and address any potential risks or challenges to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Ensure all necessary documentation is accurately prepared and adheres to compliance standards.
Reporting & Evaluating After The BID:
Conduct post-bid evaluations to analyse the success of bids and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
Keep comprehensive records of all bid activities, submissions, and results.
Support the ongoing refinement of bid processes and tools to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
What You’ll Need:
Bid Management & Proposal Writing: Demonstrated ability to manage full bid processes, from gathering requirements to submission. Experience in creating detailed proposals and cost estimates, with an understanding of estimating principles.
Bid Process Knowledge: Strong grasp of tendering, proposal development, and pricing strategies, ensuring competitive and profitable submissions aligned with client needs.
Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate terms and collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
Team Collaboration & Deadline Management: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.
Attention to Detail & Quality: High level of accuracy and commitment to producing top-quality work that meets client expectations.
Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat DC, and Visio, with familiarity in Primavera and Adobe InDesign a plus.
