A well-known global cleantech company, operating in energy from waste & renewable gas, are looking for an experienced Commissioning Coordinator to work out of the head office in Farnborough to oversee multiple projects.

About the role:

  • Assists the Manager of Commissioning in preparing Training of commissioning teams & plan activities.

  • Manages & coordinates the training of the commissioning personnel, including improvement of the program.

  • Assists the Manager of Commissioning and Training on all administrative issues (PO, invoices, time sheets check)

  • Liaise with Global Mobility and People and Culture departments in relation to new staff hires and internal staff transfers between regions, with respect to Right to Work, Visa applications, IT requirements etc.

  • Liaise with and advise commissioning team members in relation to company policies and procedures.

  • Surveys commissioning progress (time schedule, budget, quality)

  • Support Commissioning during hand over phase from construction and liaise with construction.

  • Ensures that all relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into area of responsibility and that, in consultation with site management, HSE and Commissioning team, HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable

  • Ensures that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed regarding HSE requirements.

What you will need:

  • Experience of being a Process Engineer, HSE Manager, or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of relevant Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) and management system requirements

  • Valid SCC Certificate or equivalent

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite applications with user knowledge of Sharepoint and COMOS

  • Must enjoy working with people in an international context

  • Excellent communicator

  • Ability to present ideas effectively

  • Able to evaluate ideas of others

  • Good command of English, other languages an advantage
