Commissioning Engineer - NRL are looking to recruit a Commissioning Engineer to work with one of our clients in the nuclear industry. This role will involve delivering commissioning projects to meet the appropriate national legal requirements and Client’s requirement specification, the developed technical specifications, and applied standards. Provide commission ability input into the concept, detail design and construction processes.
Role Responsibilities:
Deputise for Commissioning Manager.
Production of the Project Commissioning Plan and associated documents.
Day to day management of site commissioning works.
Interfacing with the client (including Test and Commissioning Panel).
To comply with company procedures in the execution of their role.
Any other task/duties, commensurate with the Role Holder’s competency, as directed by the Line Manager.
Undertake setting to work activities on site as well as inactive commissioning / demonstration of normal operations.
What You Will Need:
Commensurate experience (including in supervisory role), covering a range of demanding engineering topics.
Level 4 Qualification (e.g. HNC) preferred but ‘commissioning specific’ experience may be considered in lieu of qualification.
Written endorsement of competency assessment from the Head of Construction and Commissioning.
