NRL are seeking EC&I Technical Engineers (Commissioning) on behalf of one of our clients. Our client are seeking dynamic individuals with a solid foundation in project work and an appreciation of the standard of a nuclear licensed site. This position is offered on a permanent basis with an attractive package.

 

About the role:

  • The Commissioning Engineer, reporting to the Commissioning Manager and Commissioning Team Leader is part of a multi-disciplined team carrying out testing and validation activities in line with the Commissioning procedures. 
  • Carrying out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning
  • Identification of faults and ability to propose and implement solutions
  • Production of test documentation
  • Organisation of Commissioning Technicians and support resources
  • Initiation and implementation of FOBs
  • Witnessing of test activities
  • Validation of working level instructions
  • Application and removal of temporary commissioning aids
  • Recording of supporting data in accordance with test requirements.
  • Execution of tests in accordance with written procedures
  • Commissioning activities performed in accordance with the approved testing and commissioning programme
  • Recording of test results in line with Commissioning procedures. 
  • To work in compliance with the Collaborative Management Plan.
 

What you will need: 

  • Experience in Commissioning, testing, identification and implementation essential.
  • Experience in completing technical documentation and records management essential. 
  • Degree qualified in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation or related engineering subject desirable. 
  • Experience on a Nuclear or other highly regulated environment desirable.
