Our client is looking for a a Facilities Manager who has experience in manufacturing or industrial environment to be responsible for all aspects of TFM service delivery based in Sidcup.  - London on a permanent basis. This is a full time/part-time role working 37.5hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
 
What will you deliver?
  • Lead the engagement with building users groups and employee forums to understand perceptions of performance of the services and how the services could be better tailored to the client for the future. In addition to this will also be the responsibility of the delivery of Additional Works that are identified as a result of our delivery.
  • Liaising with the Customer, on-site Teams, internal departments/teams and Sub-Contractors to ensure the TFM contract at site level is delivered within the terms of the contract. This role will have a emphasis on customer service and will be point of contact for all site related activity, making sure the service is delivered and compliant with company procedures.
  • There will be an expectation of the successful candidate to have a good understanding of Facilities Contracts, Contract Variations, Additional work opportunities, Risk Management and general management tools (RAG reports, SWOT reports, etc..) to assist in a successful contract delivery.
  • Ensuring that direct reports are delivering as required and the correct level of Technical Appointments are in place to delivery services
  • Responsible for all PPM programmes to deliver full scope of services within SLA and all Additional Works to be completed on time and on budget
  • Responsible for all corrective and reactive works to be correctly recorded within the company’s asset management system
  • Responsible to ensure that teams operate in a time/cost effective manner
  • Act as escalation for all emergencies
  • Ensure that tasks are carried out in a safe manner via completing site audits/visits
  • Ensuring that disruption to the client’s premises is kept to a minimum during activities within Scope
  • Maintaining good strong relationships with the customer and all internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that quality is monitored via completing site audits/visits
  • Complete and provide accurate daily / monthly reporting to senior management/client
  • Attend Client meetings as required
  • Monitoring and control costs associated with all tasks
  • Escalates any major issues appropriately
  • Manage the recruitment, retention, motivation and development of the team
  • Manages performance of team against clear objectives and expectations
  • Ensure all training requirements of the team are met and recorded
  • Contributes to budget planning and reviews financial performance against budget

  • Strong delegation and support skills

  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, CAFM Systems)
  • Good report writing skills
  • Knowledge of key legislation relating to the delivery of FM services
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH/IOSH – Desirable / Higher National Certificate in Building Studies or equivalent experience – Desirable First Aid at Work / Gas Safety Awareness / Asbestos Awareness / Safe Working at Height
