As a Payroll Assistant you will be responsible for assisting national payroll operations across a vast portfolio of PAYE, Umbrella, CIS and Ltd company workers whilst delivering the highest possible level of customer service.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
Accurate and timely timesheet entry using data from various sources.
Validation and entry of expenses
Taking ownership of payroll queries from PAYE workers, Umbrella companies, CIS workers and Ltd companies
Liaising with internal branches
Creating and checking payment files

What we’re looking for:
Excellent, proven, high volume data entry and customer service skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Strong teamworking skills
Ability to work under own initiative.
Previous payroll experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong Microsoft office skills and the ability to work across multiple programs.
