Job Title: Pipefitter – HRSG Boiler Work
Location: Damhead Creek Power Station, Kent
Start Date: 5th June 2025
End Date: 20th July 2025
Duration: Approx. 6.5 weeks
Hours: 10 hours per day
Shift Pattern: 12 days on / 2 days off
Job Description We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter for a short-term outage project at Damhead Creek Power Station. The role will involve HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) work, specifically pipe fitting on boiler systems. This is a great opportunity for skilled tradespeople with previous power station or industrial experience.
Key Responsibilities
Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems on HRSG boilers
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Follow site safety procedures and quality standards
Work efficiently as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Carry out tasks with precision and attention to detail
Requirements
Previous experience as a pipefitter in a power generation or heavy industrial environment
Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in pipefitting (preferred)
Ability to commit to the full project duration
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Pay & Allowances
Standard Rate: £24.83/hour
Overtime 1: £34.76/hour
Overtime 2: £44.69/hour
Accommodation: £95/day (£50 lodge allowance + £45 food)
Travel: Paid at basic rate
