NRL's engineering client has a requirement for a Mechanical Piping Designer to join them for a year long contract, to be based in Warrington, Cheshire or Westlakes, Cumbria. Hybrid working on offer.
About the role:
You will have engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery, including recent positions influencing designers, and guiding technical personnel in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages as directed by a Responsible Engineer.
You will have awareness of laws, regulations, processes and procedures appropriate to the area supported.
You will have current experience of design and detailing (appropriate to discipline) of plant and equipment, including solutions, regulations, standards and operating environment influences.
You will have knowledge of relevant design tools, techniques and related methods eg IT systems, Hazop process.
What will you need?
HNC/Higher TEC Diploma
General Education Qualifications eg GSE's, 0 Levels, GCSE's
Incorporated Engineer preferred
Experience working in a role where knowledge of engineering was a key attribute.
Working within a regulated and quality assured system ( preferably nuclear ) in roles reliant upon pragmatic engineering judgement and where design was a major part of the role.
