NRL are currently recruiting for a Plant Operator for one of our large clients based in Dublin for a contract of 6 months with a view to extend.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Fulfil duties as per Air Products procedures

  • To safely control the filling activity at the depot, which includes operating electrical motors, running cryogenic and non-cryogenic pumps moving and coupling cylinders to fill points and loading into pallets

  • Control the loading activity through use of Fork lift truck

  • Complete cylinder sorting and segregation as per procedure

  • Can pick loads for customer deliveries

  • Complete process documentation, analysing product to meet AP specification

  • Receive incoming product and check for conformity

  • Raise operational issues which affect the manufacturing capability or the product purity to the responsible person

DIMENSIONS:

The operators have four main activities of which they have targets for,

Filling = 33 cyls per man per Hour,

Sorting = 60 cyls PMPH,

Picking = 60 cyls pmph

loading = 23 pallets PMPH.

The cyl fill target per day = 1550 each

Plant Operator:

Location: Dublin

Start: ASAP

Hourly Pay rate: 20.70 euros PAYE
6 months contract (may be extended depending on business needs)
40 hours per week, M-F

Shift work: Mon-Thurs: 6am-2pm / 1.30pm-9pm;
Shift s on Fri: 6am- 2pm / 11am-7pm
Shift patterns switch on a weekly basis

Candidate must have forklift truck licence.

Refresher can be provided if FLT licence is expired

Will work in a team of 4 - 5 staff

Work takes place outdoor a lot of the time, PPE will be provided
