Duration: Permanent Role
Location: Compulsory Minimum of 3 days on site at Hinkley Point C, once a fortnight in Bristol and other Project Offices monthly. (Arrangements can change so you need to be flexible)

Principal Accountabilities (Outputs of the Job – Activities & Decisions) Interface activities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day arrangement interface management with other processes
- Resolving minor queries raised by the internal JDO (Joint Design Office) teams & support the wider JDO Quality team with management of external queries when required
- Supports the JDO Quality Engineer in development & roll out of arrangements
- Support the JDO Quality Manager in any interface related investigations
Support expected as follow:
- JDO Quality Manager in Assurance related activities
- JDO Quality Engineer in Quality Control related activities
- Wider JDO in understanding external standards (e.g. ISO 9001) & Project Requirements (e.g. GQAS)
- Development & monitoring of various continual improvement activities in the JDO
- Activities related to investigations and observation/incident management
- Organise & support Quality related meetings/workshops & produce minutes of meetings
- Support JDO Quality Manager in wider required activities to deliver team objectives

- Manager accountability will be to the JDO Quality Manager
- Some travel to other EDF Sites can be expected

- Working knowledge of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard’s requirements

- Fluent in spoken & written English at Business Level
- Strong IT Skills, especially on Microsoft Office suite of applications
Desirable
- Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
- Knowledge of General Quality Assurance Specification (GQAS) & Quality Related Activities (QRA)
- Knowledge of Nuclear Site Licence Condition requirements
- Knowledge/ experience in a related engineering /construction/ Regulated delivery environment
- Knowledge of PLMs
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Relevant degree qualification or demonstrable relevant experience.
- Experience working in a nuclear, engineering or design office environment
- Experience with the development and implementation of Quality/Integrated Management Systems
o Ensuring adequate Quality Controls
o Implementing & monitoring good sustainable Quality KPIs to safeguard process output
- Experienced in complex multi organisational stakeholder management
Desirable
- Qualified internal auditor and experience in performing quality audits
- Experience in training others in Quality Management principles and topics
- Experience in performance of Root Cause Analysis
- Experienced in trend analysis
