Working with a Tier-1 Contractor on HPC, NRL are looking for a site based Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis in Bridgwater.
The Role:
You will be coordinating and tracking all Non-Conformance Costs on the contract and working as a change agent for improving the way of working and monitoring the adherence of the local teams to processes. You will also be performing QS duties on site for the client.
Implement NCC process at site
Liaise with PCCM , SCM and SQM to ensure deployment of those process are fully in line with client requirement and project requirement.
To ensure that the approved NCC process of the project is fully deployed and implemented
To administrate and monitor NCR and FSI tool (and any other tool linked to the NCC process applicable for project).
To ensure that the NCR System, database and any other tools applicable for the NCC process of the project are fully deployed at Site and that the users are adequately supported and trained.
Participate to the preparation of the Monthly Costs Forecasts
You will need:
Previous QS experience
Strong MS Excel skills
Commercial and Legal Knowledge
Quick and optimal decision making
Active and positive in solving problems
Planning, Organisation, Negotiation and Presentation Skills
