As part of a multi-billion pound investment off the North East Coast of England, our client are are looking to build their team.   

We are recruiting a Senior Energy Analyst to be based out of the Port of Tyne.


Duties will include:   

  • Manage commercial operations for all phases of Dogger Bank Wind farm including liaison with multiple external stakeholders. 

  • Monitor market conditions for optimising commercial conditions for the wind farms. 

  • Advise in commercial aspects of wind farm operations. 

  • Manage balancing mechanical and certificates. 

  • Prepare monthly reports and invoices for electricity sale (PPAs) and reconcile incoming statements e.g. Balance Settlement Code (BSC) and Contract for Difference (CfD). 

  • Analyse production data and work closely with the operations team to maximise value and optimise planning synergies.

  • Assist commercial operations for other Equinor operated wind farms.

  • Experience in energy market analysis  

  • Strong collaboration skills and creative approach to problem solving    

  • Proactive and open minded to furthering knowledge and experience base.   

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Computer literate
