Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Location: Izmir, Türkiye
Contract: 3‑month initial contract (immediate start)

Overview We are currently supporting our client, with the appointment of an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer for an accelerated data centre commissioning programme in Izmir. This is an immediate‑start requirement and ideally suited to professionals with strong hyperscale or mission‑critical commissioning backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute electrical commissioning activities across the data centre, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and performance requirements.
• Carry out functional testing, FAT/SAT, integrated systems testing, and fault diagnostics on LV/MV systems.
• Review and validate commissioning documentation, including method statements, test scripts, checklists, and O&M content.
• Interface directly with client engineers, general contractors, and equipment vendors.
• Produce high‑quality daily/weekly reporting on progress, risks, and outstanding actions.
• Support the wider commissioning programme and collaborate with mechanical and controls teams to achieve project milestones.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven track record as an Electrical Commissioning Engineer on data centres or similar mission‑critical environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, UPS, switchgear, generators, and associated protection systems.
• Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and commissioning plans.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities on a fast‑paced project.
• Fluent English required; Turkish language skills advantageous.
• Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Türkiye.
