Electrical Quantity Surveyor

Job Title Electrical Quantity Surveyor Summary We are seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to manage pre‑contract and tendering activities on a major project over an 8–12 month period. This position is well suited to an individual experienced in procurement and cost management, who is confident handling tender processes from start to recommendation stage. Occasional travel will be required for post‑tender clarification meetings with bidders. Location and Working Pattern Location details have not been provided. The role will include intermittent travel for bidder meetings. Client Overview Our client delivers large‑scale engineering and construction projects, ensuring compliance and governance across all procurement activities. Responsibilities

• Prepare capital cost estimates for electrical work packages
• Assist with tendering procedures and contract arrangements
• Develop tender packages, including full package assembly
• Prepare pricing documents and Bills of Quantities for tender submissions
• Manage the tender process and liaise closely with key stakeholders
• Review and assess tender submissions through to recommendation stage
• Conduct tender clarifications and negotiations with bidders
• Prepare tender evaluation reports and recommendations
• Support contract agreement and finalisation processes
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and governance requirements
• Liaise with design teams to complete tender documentation
• Identify and manage commercial risks during the procurement phase
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails throughout the process
