We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading construction business delivering high-profile fit-out projects across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to lead complex projects from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of large-scale fit-out projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners. You will play a key role in driving project performance, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects through all phases from planning and procurement to construction and completion.
  • Lead site, engineering, commercial and design teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor programme, cost and quality performance, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Manage project risks, resources and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, variations and project cash flow.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
  • Chair project meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale construction or fit-out projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage project teams and subcontractors.
  • Excellent knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control and quality management.
  • A thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within a Tier 1 construction or engineering environment.
Desirable Experience
  • Delivery of projects within life sciences, data centres, infrastructure or commercial construction sectors.
  • Knowledge of BIM and digital project delivery tools.
  • Strong commercial awareness including contract administration and cost management.
  • Experience driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Essential

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Relevant health and safety qualification (Safe Pass, CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated project management experience within construction or engineering.
Desirable

  • Membership of, or working towards membership of, CIOB, Engineers Ireland, RICS, ICE or another recognised professional body.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Project Management or Business Management.
  • Training in lean construction, sustainability or digital project delivery.
