Job Title Senior Project Engineer

Summary We’re looking for a Senior Project Engineer with proven data centre experience to join a leading general contractor on a major project in Frankfurt. This is an immediate-start position offering excellent long-term opportunities, ideal for professionals who want to work on complex, high-performance facilities. Client Overview Our client is a recognised general contractor with a strong portfolio of large-scale construction projects across Europe, including high-profile data centres. They are renowned for delivering excellence and fostering a collaborative, innovative culture.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee technical delivery of key project milestones, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Manage quality assurance processes and ensure all engineering works meet required standards.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction activities to align with project timelines.
  • Review drawings and assess constructability, highlighting alternative solutions where appropriate.
  • Drive technical standards across the team and provide guidance to junior engineers.
  • Support commissioning activities and ensure handover documentation is complete and accurate.
Must-have Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in project engineering roles, including data centre or large-scale MEP projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, and QA/QC standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with project planning tools.
