Client Overview Our client is a well-established general contractor with an impressive track record in delivering large-scale, complex construction projects across Europe, including data centres for major clients. Their dynamic approach ensures innovative solutions and successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities- Lead commercial strategy and manage all financial aspects of the project.
- Prepare and monitor cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure contract compliance across procurement and subcontracts.
- Negotiate agreements and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Oversee preparation and submission of monthly valuations and cost reports.
- Evaluate and manage variations, claims, and contractual risk.
- Mentor and support junior team members and promote best commercial practices.
Must-have Requirements- Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
- 8 years’ experience, including senior QS responsibilities within large projects.
- In-depth understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent reporting, costing, and negotiation skills.
Nice-to-have Skills- Exposure to data centre or large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong leadership and team development capability.
