Working with a global leader in engineering, project and programme management within the nuclear industry, NRL are looking to recruit a proactive, customer-focused L1.5 Service Desk Support Technician to deliver exceptional IT support to the global workforce.
This role is based in a state-of-the-art office in Theale, close to Reading on a full-time basis.
As the IT Support Technician, you’ll provide first-line IT support via ServiceNow, troubleshoot technical issues, assist onsite users, and collaborate with global teams. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and experience with Windows, M365, and networking is essential. Occasional UK travel and a proactive, customer-first mindset is key.
What You’ll Need:
Experience in IT support, providing high-quality technical support and first-class customer service and communication skills
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, M365, Active Directory, and networking basics
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Excellent knowledge of service desk processes and functions in support of end-user computing needs
A can-do attitude and team spirit
Ability to work independantly and as part of a team
