Hiring Now: Senior Site IT Support – ENI Liverpool Bay Project | Talacre | Contract Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Site IT Support specialist to join our ENI Liverpool Bay Project team, supporting Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a transformative project during its construction phase, with hands-on involvement in shaping the IT infrastructure for incoming teams.
Location: Talacre CH8 9RF (NO HYBRID working)
Start Date: August 2025
Contract Type: Contractor (Inside IR35), Full-time (5.5 days/week)
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the installation of IT infrastructure with external vendors to establish a stable domain network and server environment
Support external providers during setup of Wi-Fi access points, switches, printers, and other on-site IT assets
Troubleshoot software and hardware issues using diagnostic tools and test equipment
Apply temporary software fixes to ensure continuity and security
Carry out ongoing application maintenance operations
Provide technical and infrastructure support across the ICT environment
Manage user access, password protocols, and change control with proper documentation
Lead helpdesk activities:
Initially resolving tickets directly for new joiners
Later managing and supervising helpdesk operations once a team is in place
What We’re Looking For
Education: Technical diploma or degree in Computer Engineering (or related field)
Experience: 4–6 years in network architecture, infrastructure operations, and application maintenance
Skills:
Proven knowledge of networking installation and infrastructure maintenance
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
