Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of a major construction project in

Client Overview
Our client is a recognised name in the construction sector, delivering large-scale infrastructure and building projects to the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.
Responsibilities- Lead preparation of project programmes, method statements and contract submissions.
- Manage project start-up meetings and resource planning in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Oversee buying schedules, subcontractor coordination and stakeholder notifications.
- Drive project execution through planning, risk management, HSEQ compliance and commercial oversight.
- Coordinate consultant and subcontractor design delivery, including BIM when applicable.
- Monitor progress against programme, resolve issues and ensure timely delivery against milestones.
- Lead subcontractor selection, contract administration, cost controls and financial reporting.
- Manage close-out processes, including final accounts, client handovers and defect rectification.
Must-have Requirements- Degree (or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline; chartered status desirable.
- IOSH Managing Safely (or similar) Health & Safety certification.
- Temporary Works Coordinator and Excavation Safety training.
- Competence in Working at Heights, Scaffolding and Lifting & Cranage operations.
- Knowledge of permitting for live energy works, plus Behavioural Safety and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience with PSCS/CDM standards and compliance.
Nice-to-have Skills- Training or experience in Contracts Management, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) and Project Execution Planning (PEP).
