Summary We’re looking for an experienced CS&A Senior Technician to join a long-term design project based in Warrington, with hybrid working available (2 days per week onsite). This role is ideal for someone with strong Civil, Structural and Architectural design expertise who is confident using Civils 3D and has experience across the full lifecycle of design activities.

Location and Working Pattern
  • Base: Warrington (106 Dalton Avenue)
  • Hybrid arrangement: 2 days per week onsite
  • Contract duration: 12 months
  • Security clearance: BPSS and SC required (dual nationals considered)
  • Minimal travel to other sites may be required
Responsibilities
  • Deliver civil, structural and architectural design work for facilities, structures and infrastructure
  • Prepare and develop design models and drawings using Autodesk software, particularly Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Civils 3D
  • Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver compliant design solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members and apprentices
  • Support BIM processes and ensure design documentation meets quality, health & safety and CDM standards
  • Participate in design reviews and liaise with stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met
  • Resolve technical issues during design, fabrication, installation or commissioning phases
  • Act as subject matter expert on CS&A design and detailing software
Must-have Requirements
  • Minimum HNC in a relevant discipline
  • Proven experience across the full lifecycle of design activities, particularly CS&A projects
  • Strong knowledge of CAD tools and BIM processes
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
  • Proficiency with Civils 3D software (essential)
Nice-to-have Skills
  • Membership of a relevant engineering institute
  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, chemical or petrochemical environments
  • Leadership skills with experience managing small design teams
