Summary We’re looking for an experienced
Electrical Quantity Surveyor to support a high-profile project in
Leiden, South Holland. This role is well-suited to professionals with strong expertise in tendering, cost management, and contract administration. The position offers an excellent hourly rate and full-time on-site involvement for an initial 12-month contract.

Client Overview Our client is an established leader in delivering large-scale engineering, procurement, and construction solutions for major projects worldwide.
Responsibilities- Support and manage the full tendering process and contractual arrangements
- Develop accurate and comprehensive tender packages
- Prepare pricing documents and Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for work packages
- Manage coordination with stakeholders throughout each tender stage
- Review and evaluate incoming tender submissions, providing recommendations
- Conduct clarifications and commercial negotiations with bidders
- Produce tender evaluation and recommendation reports
- Assist with the drafting and execution of final contracts
- Ensure compliance with procurement standards and governance requirements
- Collaborate with design teams to confirm accurate documentation for tender
- Identify and manage commercial risks during procurement
- Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails
- Oversee supplier contract administration during construction phases
Must-have Requirements- Proven experience as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor on large-scale projects
- Strong understanding of tendering procedures, BoQ development, and governance
- Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to ensure accurate documentation and procurement compliance
- Full availability for on-site work in Leiden
Nice-to-have Skills- Prior experience in technical or industrial environments, such as data centres
- Knowledge of European procurement frameworks
- Familiarity with cost management tools or systems
