Summary We’re seeking an experienced
Procure to Pay Officer to join our client’s supply chain team in
Cairo, Egypt. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in procurement processes who thrive in a dynamic environment and can ensure efficient purchasing, compliance, and supplier management. Salary USD 780 – 890 per month
Location and Working Pattern Cairo, Egypt – On-site
Client Overview Our client operates within the oil and gas services industry, providing advanced solutions to enhance energy sector operations. They are committed to innovation and operational excellence across their global supply chain.
Responsibilities- Drive procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with project specifications and standards.
- Issue and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring timely approvals, acknowledgements, and payment processing.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to maintain smooth supply chain operations.
- Support negotiations, price comparisons, and quotation analysis under the guidance of senior team members.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
- Assist with inventory control, logistics planning, and order fulfilment activities.
- Monitor supplier performance and aid in vendor evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the supply chain.
Must-have Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- ERP system knowledge and experience (preferably SAP).
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Nice-to-have Skills- Master’s/MBA from a recognised university (preferably AUC, GUC, Ain Shams, Cairo University, or AAST).
- Certifications such as CIPS (CISCP) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional).
- Familiarity with data analytics and AI tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with focus on cost/value optimisation.
