Summary

We are looking for an experienced Site Civil Quality Senior Engineer to join a major international energy and infrastructure project in Comuna Buciumi, Judetul Bacau, Romania. This role suits a quality management professional with proven experience in civil engineering projects who is passionate about compliance, safety, and excellence. You’ll play a key part in ensuring quality standards are met across all aspects of the site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site quality team and support corporate quality managers to achieve project goals
• Implement and monitor the site quality management system
• Perform audits on contractors during construction phases
• Liaise with client quality representatives to resolve quality concerns
• Ensure full compliance with contractual, company, and local authority quality requirements
• Maintain all site TTO documentation to ensure compliance and availability
• Produce monthly and biweekly quality reports
• Review and approve supplier/subcontractor NCRs, quality documents, and plans
• Facilitate inspections, expediting activities, and FAT/inspection report reviews
• Refresh contractor kick-off meetings and quality briefings

Must‑have Requirements

• Degree in economic‑technical engineering and/or business/economics
• At least 3 years’ experience in quality management for construction projects
• Proven experience in process management, inspection, and site construction
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2008
• Skilled in QA/QC plan development and implementation
• Ability to lead specialist teams and corrective action plans
• Fluent in Romanian and English (spoken and written)

• Understanding of field operations and risk management practices
• Ability to identify project-critical success factors
• Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder projects
