Often requiring chartered engineer status, it’s essential that Senior Electrical Engineers have a degree level qualification in a field such as electrical engineering. As well as applied experience to allow them to work at a senior level. They also have a strong understanding of health and safety, in particular around working with low voltage and high voltage electrical infrastructure. Including relevant codes, standards, regulations and procedures.
